Brunello di Montalcino (Mike Rienzi) – Red Wine

Known as one of the best red Italian quality wines, the Sangiovese vines offer an aristocratic and harmonious wine with rich garnet colors and a bouquet intense and persistent with great strength and fruity tones of dark berries. The taste is dry yet fleshy with silky tannins.

Date of Harvest:
Second half of September

Fermentation:
A traditional and controlled method with maceration of the marc above the must for 20-22 days.

Fining:
24 months in Allier’s French oak barrels, followed by 12 months in French barriques. Finally in bottle for 12 months.

Food Pairing:
The ideal accompaniment to red meats, game and powerful cheeses.

Alcohol Content:
14% by Vol.

Serving Temperature:
Best served at room temperature. Uncork 2 hours before serving.
